Haimer Acquires 25% of WINTOOL AG and Agrees on a Global Strategic Partnership with the TMC Group

 

The Haimer Group becomes a 25% shareholder in WinTool AG and agrees on a strategic partnership with the TCM Group, which grants HAIMER global distribution rights to WinTool and Toolbase. Prior to the decision to acquire this stake in the company, WinTool and Toolbase were introduced in the company's own production facilities and tested in continuous use, proving their worth in a very short period of time. In the future, TCM will rely on HAIMER as a strategic supplier in the field of tool holders, shrinking, balancing and presetting machines in the core business of tool management.

The Next Generation of Tool Management

 

Some of the most recent innovations in HAIMER technology include the addition of tool management software from WinTool and the Toolbase smart tool dispensing cabinets. As a software solution for tool and data management, WinTool enables the management of tools, resources, machine programs, processes and master data. In the future, all HAIMER Microset presetting devices can be equipped with WinTool as a standard. The smart tool dispensing system Toolbase includes individually configurable tool cabinets, enabling efficient access management via barcode, RFID or manual interaction.
